Melissa provides music at the market.
It's great to get back to a more "normal" atmosphere after a nightmarish year of isolation. What have you done since last year? I've been trying to make a bit of sense of a lost year by filling it with song ideas and adding new old songs to my set list.
If you are newly aware of my music, or as of yet unaware, here's the deal. I play guitar and sing a variety of Americana style music ranging from Classic Country to Folk to Blues to Pop songs from the past with a few contemporary numbers mixed in. My own music reflects the style of the 60's with genre crossing styles of singing and playing. There are some examples here of music I've written, as well as performances from a variety of venues.
My primary places to play are farmers markets and Lewis's Restaurant in Sherburne, where I provide dinner music on Saturday evenings from 5:30 to 8:30 PM. In each three hour show you get a mix of Dylan, Beatles, John Denver, Judy Collns, John Fogarty and others' music to provide comfort during a delicius meal.
Farmers markets on this summer's calendar include several dates in Old Forge, Gloversville and Utica, with additional stops in Cooperstown, Schenevus, and Ithaca. These venues are listed in the "Upcoming Events" section of this site. I am also available for parties. My contact information is included below. Thank you for stopping by and I hope to hear from you!
